We invite you to join a dynamic and transformative three-day Introduction to Systemic Practice workshop led by internationally respected facilitators: Jan Jacob Stam and Dees van der Hoef from Transitionstudio.
The Design.
The exact design of the workshop will be confirmed once we know who the participants will be, but to give you a flavour of the sort of terrain which will be covered, here is a description of similar workshops run by Jan Jacob and Dees:
Transformation processes are much more of an adventure than a journey. On a journey, you know where you’re going although it may not always go smoothly whereas in an adventure, you don’t (yet) know where you’ll end up or what to expect.
In this workshop you will learn about transformation and deep change from a systemic perspective. You are immersed in transformation and change processes, interventions, how to guide them, and how to navigate them.
Because in these processes within society, organisations, and people you encounter quite a lot along the way.
Similarly, Teams are like living organisms – with their own dynamics, their own will, and an impressive ‘memory’. But what if a team moves in a different direction than the team members themselves expect? Where does the influence lie: with the individuals or the team as a whole? This question plays out not only within teams, but also in organisations, startups, departments, associations, and family businesses.
During this workshop, participants learn how to recognise and effectively influence these dynamics.

Transitionstudio
Jan Jacob Stam has been working in systemic and organisational constellations internationally since the 1990s and is considered one of the pioneers of systemic work in organisations in Europe. He has taught in more than 30 countries worldwide.
Dees van der Hoef brings boldness, warmth and extraordinary perceptiveness to her work with people and teams.
Together they create a safe and challenging learning environment where participants not only learn techniques but also gain clarity on their own role and impact as interveners.
They point out blind spots, name patterns, and ensure that participants can intervene from a clear position. The emphasis is on applicability: what participants learn, they can apply immediately.
About Transitionstudio:
-
‘Transition’ because it’s about transitions. Where you move from one thing to another without knowing in advance exactly where you’ll end up.
-
‘Studio’ because it’s a place to experiment and explore in a safe setting.
-
In English, because we work in many different countries and love the diversity of people and the richness hidden in those differences.
